What the sample establishes
| Readable records | Ticket subjects, status, requester, assignee, timestamps, tags, and source file are visible. |
|---|---|
| Conversation order | Public replies and the internal note are rendered chronologically for each sample ticket. |
| Local workflow | Search, filtering, CSV creation, and Markdown creation happen in the browser tab. |
| Data boundary | No archive or ticket content is uploaded to DeskLens. |
What this report cannot establish
- Whether Zendesk included every expected ticket, comment, custom field, or attachment.
- Whether record counts match the source account or another migration destination.
- Whether customized or historical export shapes will parse without warnings.
- Whether the archive meets a legal, compliance, retention, or deletion requirement.
Attachments remain outside scope
DeskLens does not import attachment files or attachment metadata. Keep the untouched source archive and review Zendesk-generated error files separately.
Verification checklist for a real export
- Record the expected ticket count and export date from the source account.
- Open the untouched archive locally and review every DeskLens warning.
- Compare representative open, solved, older, and attachment-heavy tickets with Zendesk.
- Document missing fields, skipped records, and the decision owner before migration or archive sign-off.
Founder review pilot
The proposed US$49 pilot includes a field-coverage review, warning triage, a sample comparison checklist, and a written archive or migration recommendation. It does not include legal advice, a completeness guarantee, data recovery, or attachment migration.
The request form collects no archive. Share only non-sensitive counts or warning text you choose, and do not include ticket content, customer identities, or file names.
